Bachelor's Program 

The program consists of 132 credits, including a minimum of 30 credits for the coursework on General Education, 102 credits for Professional/Teaching Studies/Teaching Practice, and 6 credits for elective courses. Students usually spend four years in the program, with a minimum enrollment of eight consecutive sixteen-week semesters. Upon successful completion of the required coursework and teacher skills development element, students will be awarded the degree.

Master's Program  

The program consists of 36 credits: a minimum of 24 credits for the coursework and 12 credits for a thesis. Students may choose to complete a thesis (36 credits) instead of the coursework and thesis requirement of the regular program. However, non-credit courses may additionally be required, as recommended by the program committee. A presentation of a research study in and academic/electronic journal and/or a presentation of the thesis at a local/international conference is also required. The applicant must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited university. He/she must earn a minimum grade point average of 2.5 (on the 4.0 grade scale) and/or have completed at least 2 years work experience in a related field. In addition, he/she is to meet the entrance requirements of the university graduate school.

Doctoral Program   

The program consists of 60 credits: a minimum of 24 credits for the coursework and 36 credits for the dissertation. Students must also fulfill two additional requirements: pass a qualifying examination and publish research in a peer-reviewed academic journal and/or present a dissertation at an international conference. Applicants must hold a master's degree from an accredited university. He/she must earn a minimum grade point average of 3.5 (on the 4.0 point scale) and/or have at least 2-3 years working experience in a related field. In addition, he/she must meet the entrance requirements of the university graduate school.
